Most organizations already have health and safety-related policies, processes, initiatives and strategies that are working to support positive workplace culture, prevent harms and support mental health and wellbeing at work.
We offer external, independent assessments to bring together, recognize and benchmark those organizational efforts, help you identify where your next best investment of time and attention is needed and enrich your understanding of the influential factors that are at work in your context. Many factors influence the workplace environment. Even a climate of low-level negativity can result in new norms that have negative impact on psychological safety, productivity, collaboration, innovation and stress over time.
New legal minimums in employer obligations related to psychological health and safety and wellbeing continue to evolve around the world. In our experience, most organizations have more in place and more data inside the organization than you think. We can help you interpret it based on the level of integration and your areas of risk and influence.
Not sure where to start or what to do?
We have found that because of the sensitive nature of this work, the best approach starts with a simple, confidential conversation. We would be happy to have a call, meet in person or via Zoom, whatever works best for you.
Do you need to rebuild, redirect or shift the way your team or team members work together because of conflict, change or other pressures?
Contact us to discuss how our process can safely and effectively shift understanding and behaviour by using shared strengths. Our approach recognizes both the visible and not-so-invisible signs, symptoms, influences and impacts of the challenge. Getting a clear, independent picture can help you reset and become more future-focused. With guided insight from a supportive "thinking partner" coach we work on this together, with the individuals and/or your team.
Our process works to rebuild trust through radical candor, employee development and coaching, and when needed holding trauma-informed listening circles to help teams move through tough work periods, legacy culture or other challenges.
Although they are a last resort, sometimes the circumstances require a workplace investigation into behaviours or incidents to meet your legal minimums, to understand both root causes and the factors that are influencing the incident. We provide a confidential, independent and trusted process of discovery and analysis. Our recommendations are aimed at findings of fact and if requested opportunities to eliminate or minimize future harms, risk and hazards.
We offer both formal Workplace Investigations and less formal processes with our certified, trauma-informed investigators and psychological health and safety consultants. Investigations can have stress impact on all parties involved. We understand this and work to create an environment that is as psychologically-safe as possible while also ensuring all obligations are met.
We would be pleased to meet with you to discuss the issues..
Depending on your needs we offer a number of accredited assessments, from organization-wide examinations of inclusion, diversity and equity to assessments aimed at supporting team development and individual contributors in cultural awareness, human bias, and insights into strengths and preferences that shape choices, decisions and behaviour. These can be used alone or in combination with other services to support your strategic goals.
One of our assessments is the Emotional Intelligence Quotient Index 2.0 (EQ-i) Assessment. This science-based behavioural tool helps you identify hidden emotional strengths and competencies. The assessment also can unearth how certain strengths and skills work together. In the debrief and coaching session that is included, we help you take this new understanding into your own leader or contributor development plan. A series of one-to-one coaching sessions are also available to support you putting insights into action.
